Webscraper.io Pricing for Web Scraper Cloud Plans, URL Credits and Real Monthly Bills

8 min read

Webscraper.io pricing has two halves. The Web Scraper browser extension is free and runs on your own computer. Web Scraper Cloud, which runs the same sitemaps on their servers, costs $50 a month for 5,000 URL credits (Project), $100 for 20,000 (Professional) or from $200 for unlimited credits on Scale, priced per concurrent scraper. Annual billing drops those to $40, $80 and $167.

The plans

Web Scraper Cloud plans and prices at a glance

Every Cloud plan includes the API, scheduler, parser, data quality monitoring, the log-in feature, CSV, XLSX and JSON exports, and pushes to Sheets, Drive, Dropbox, Google Cloud, Azure and S3.
Plan Monthly Annual, per month URL credits Concurrent scrapers Data retention Extras
Extension Free Free No limit, runs on your computer Your browser - Local only
Project $50 $40 5,000 a month (60,000 a year on annual) 2 30 days Full Cloud features
Professional $100 $80 20,000 a month (240,000 a year on annual) 3 30 days Full Cloud features
Scale from $200 from $167 Unlimited 2 or more 60 days Image download, success manager
Enterprise Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom proxies and terms

Annual billing takes 20% off Project and Professional (about 17% off Scale) and hands you the year's credits at once: 60,000 on Project and 240,000 on Professional. Captcha bypass, bot protection bypass and automatic retries are listed on every Cloud plan. Proxies differ by tier: Project and Professional tick both datacenter and residential, while Scale includes a free US datacenter proxy and sells residential traffic as an add-on at $2.50 per GB, across 47 locations.

The meter

How Web Scraper Cloud counts URL credits

The rule is simple, and it rewards scraping listing pages over detail pages.

Rendering does not change the price of a credit. Web Scraper Cloud offers a Fast driver and a Full JS driver; both cost one credit per page, but the Full JS driver is slower, which matters on Scale, where throughput depends on how many scrapers you pay for.

Scale plan

Web Scraper Cloud Scale pricing per concurrent scraper

Scale drops the credit cap and charges for parallel capacity instead. Prices are tiered like tax brackets: each band only applies to the scrapers inside it. The calculator on Web Scraper's site estimates about 1.1 million Full JS pages or 2.15 million Fast pages a month per scraper.

ScrapersMonthly, eachAnnual, each per month
1 to 5$100$83.33
6 to 10$80$66.67
11 to 25$70$58.33
26 to 50$60$50
51 and up$50$41.67

So 2 scrapers cost $200, 5 cost $500, 10 cost $900 and 25 cost $1,950 a month on monthly billing.

Worked bills

Web Scraper Cloud cost for three real monthly jobs

Page counts include the listing pages a sitemap walks to reach each item. Assumptions are stated in each card.

Job 1

A weekly catalog of 3,000 products

3,000 detail pages plus about 60 listing pages, four times a month, is roughly 12,250 credits. Project's 5,000 is too small, so it lands on Professional with room for a fifth run.

$100 a month

$80 on annual billing

Job 2

2,000 product pages every day

About 60,000 pages a month is three times Professional's allowance, so Scale with the minimum 2 scrapers is the plan. If the site needs residential IPs at about 200 KB a page, add 12 GB at $2.50, or $30.

$200 to $230 a month

$167 plus proxy on annual billing

Job 3

Hourly price checks on 20 sites

Twenty sitemaps that each need their own slot every hour push you to about 10 concurrent scrapers: 5 at $100 plus 5 at $80. Volume is not the limit here, parallel jobs are.

$900 a month

$750 on annual billing

What none of these bills include is the time to build each sitemap with CSS selectors, and to rebuild it when a site changes its layout. Once the rows are in a warehouse, the next job is usually answering questions about them; an AI analyst that turns plain-English questions into SQL saves writing those queries by hand.

Compare

Webscraper.io pricing next to other cloud scrapers

Different meters, so compare the entry plan against the job you actually run.
Product What you pay for Entry paid plan Who builds the extraction Best for
Web Scraper Cloud Pages loaded, or concurrent scrapers on Scale $50 for 5,000 URL credits You, with point-and-click CSS selectors Extension users who want their sitemaps on a schedule
Octoparse Tasks and concurrent cloud processes Standard $69 a month billed annually, $83 monthly You, in a desktop workflow builder Analysts who like templates
Browse AI Credits per task Personal $48 a month for 2,000 credits You, by recording a robot Small monitoring jobs
WebRobot Records delivered Launch $79 for 10,000 records, 5 robots, daily runs ($39 billed yearly) The robot, from a plain-English description of the columns Business teams with nobody to build or fix selectors

To be straight about it: on list-heavy jobs, where one listing page holds 50 or 100 rows, Web Scraper Cloud's page credit goes further than a record-based plan. WebRobot wins when the job is detail pages, logins or sites that redesign often, because nobody has to maintain selectors. The full grids are in Octoparse pricing and Browse AI pricing, and the cloud web scraper page compares hosted options side by side.

Which plan

Which Web Scraper Cloud plan to buy, or whether to skip it

  • Stay on the free extension if you scrape by hand a few times a month and can leave the browser open while it runs.
  • Project fits one scheduled sitemap of up to about 5,000 pages a month, such as a weekly list of 1,000 items.
  • Professional is the sweet spot for a weekly catalog or a daily list of a few hundred detail pages.
  • Scale is the next step once you pass 20,000 pages a month or need several jobs running at the same time.
  • Skip it if nobody wants to own the sitemaps. Credits are cheap; the person who repairs selectors is not.

The no-selector route

WebRobot runs in the cloud too, but you never build a sitemap. You paste a URL and write the row you want, for example "product, price, compare-at price, stock". The robot follows pagination and detail pages in a real browser, runs daily on Launch ($79) or hourly on Scale ($249, with logins and change alerts), and re-reads the page by meaning after a redesign instead of returning blanks.

Rows go to a Google Sheets web scraper feed, Excel, CSV or the API. Every limit is on WebRobot pricing.

FAQ

Webscraper.io pricing questions buyers ask

The Web Scraper browser extension is free and runs locally in Chrome or Firefox on your own computer, with no credit limit. Running the same sitemaps on Web Scraper's servers with scheduling, the API, proxies and exports is Web Scraper Cloud, which is paid from $50 a month and comes with a 7-day free trial.

Web Scraper Cloud has three published plans. Project is $50 a month ($40 billed annually) for 5,000 URL credits, Professional is $100 a month ($80 annually) for 20,000, and Scale starts at $200 a month ($167 annually) for two concurrent scrapers with unlimited URL credits. Enterprise is quoted by sales.

One URL credit is charged for each page Web Scraper Cloud loads, no matter how many rows it pulls from that page. A listing page with 100 products costs one credit, while opening those 100 product pages costs 100. Automatic retries of empty and failed pages do not use extra credits, and test scrapes of up to 500 links are free.

Scale is priced per concurrent scraper instead of per page. The first five scrapers cost $100 each a month, scrapers 6 to 10 cost $80, 11 to 25 cost $70, 26 to 50 cost $60 and every scraper after 50 costs $50. The minimum is two scrapers, so Scale starts at $200, and URL credits are unlimited.

Yes. Every Cloud plan includes the API, which starts scraping jobs, passes custom start URLs and returns data, plus webhook notifications when a job finishes. The plans also include the scheduler, the parser, data quality monitoring, the log-in feature and exports to Dropbox, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Cloud, Azure and Amazon S3.

Yes. Each Cloud plan opens with a 7-day free trial, and test scrapes of up to 500 links do not consume URL credits on any plan. That is enough to import an extension sitemap, run it once on Cloud and check the output before you pay.

It is good value if you already built a sitemap in the free extension and the job fits in 5,000 to 20,000 pages a month, or if you need millions of pages on Scale. It is less of a fit if nobody on the team wants to build and repair selectors, because a redesign breaks the sitemap and someone has to re-click it.
