Bardeen Alternative: Bardeen Alternatives and Bardeen Pricing for Scraping at Volume

Bardeen is a good sales copilot with a scraper inside it. Where it gets expensive is volume: every row is a credit, a detail page is another credit, and Premium runs $50 for 1,000 credits up to $500 for 10,000 a month. If your job is a scheduled list of products, listings or leads rather than a one-off prospect search, WebRobot delivers 10,000 records a month on a daily schedule for $79, hosted, with no browser left open.

Their pricing

Bardeen pricing, tier by tier

The headline says Premium is $50 a month. That buys 1,000 credits. Open the dropdown and every step up in credits is a step up in price, which is the number that matters once a list runs every day.

The flat rate is the tell. Bardeen charges the same $50 per 1,000 credits at 1,000 credits as at 10,000, so there is no volume discount on monthly billing at all, and annual billing takes it to $40. A row that needs a list page and a detail page costs 2 credits. A lead with a validated email costs another 3. Bardeen's own worked example, 10 profiles scraped, enriched, validated, scored by AI and written to a sheet, comes to 64 credits: 6.4 credits a lead.

Worked bill 01

400 rows a month, one list

One directory, list page only, refreshed once a month. Bardeen Basic at $40 to $50 covers it, and that is cheaper than WebRobot Launch at $79. If this is your whole job, stay where you are.

Worked bill 02

2,000 listings with detail pages

List row plus detail row is 4,000 credits a month, which is Premium at $200 billed monthly. On WebRobot that is 2,000 records, because a record is counted once however many pages filled it: Launch at $79.

Worked bill 03

300 competitor products, every day

300 rows a day is about 9,000 credits a month: Premium at $500 monthly, or $400 a month on the 120,000 annual tier. WebRobot Launch runs it daily for $79, and Scale at $249 adds hourly checks and change alerts to Slack.

Fair play

When you should keep Bardeen

Bardeen was built for sales teams and it is very good at that job. If one of these describes your week, switching buys you nothing.

Advantage 01

You need emails and phone numbers, not just rows

Bardeen finds and validates contact details as part of the same agent. WebRobot collects what is published on the page and does not run an enrichment database. For outbound prospecting that difference decides it.

Advantage 02

Small, occasional lists

A few hundred rows a month on Basic costs $10 to $50. Our cheapest plan is $79 and there is no free tier. Below roughly 1,500 rows a month, Bardeen is the cheaper bill.

Advantage 03

Workflows around the CRM

Meeting prep, CRM updates, account research and follow-ups are Bardeen's home ground. WebRobot does one thing: pull structured data from websites on a schedule and deliver it.

Advantage 04

Done-for-you scrapers on Enterprise

Bardeen's Enterprise plan includes custom scrapers that its team builds and maintains. If you want a vendor to own the whole thing under a contract, that is a real service to weigh.

Switching triggers

Why teams search for a Bardeen alternative

The reasons teams give in reviews and community threads repeat, and they are rarely about the scraper's accuracy.

Trigger 01

Credits run out mid-cycle

A daily run that doubles its rows with detail pages eats a 1,000-credit plan in days, and the next tier up is another $50 for every 1,000. A record allowance ten times the size at a similar price removes the rationing.

Trigger 02

The job is not sales

Pricing analysts, ecommerce managers and real estate researchers find a product built around leads, CRMs and outreach, and pay for features they never open. They want a table of prices every morning.

Trigger 03

Schedules tied to a laptop

Anything that runs in the extension needs Chrome open and signed in. Close the lid on Friday and the weekend runs do not happen. A hosted robot has no such dependency.

Trigger 04

Scrapers that break on a redesign

Scrapers built by pointing at page elements stop matching when a site changes its layout. WebRobot reads the page the way a person would from your plain-English description, so a new layout is re-read rather than rebuilt by hand.

Migration

How to move a Bardeen scraper to WebRobot

Run both in parallel for a week, compare, then cancel. There is nothing to export except the list of fields.

Step 1

Write down the columns

Open the Google Sheet your Bardeen agent fills. The header row is your field list, and the start URL is in the scraper settings.

Step 2

Say it in one sentence

"Every listing on this search page with address, price, beds, baths and agent name from the detail page, all pages." That is the whole setup.

Step 3

Point it at the same sheet

Deliver to a copy of the same Google Sheet, daily or hourly, and compare row counts and twenty rows field by field against the Bardeen run.

Step 4

Keep enrichment where it is

If you still need validated emails, keep a small Bardeen plan for that step only and move the bulk scraping over. Your credit usage drops to the enrichment rows.

Most teams coming from Bardeen run one of four jobs, each with its own page: building lists for web scraping for lead generation, pulling local businesses with the Google Maps scraper, real estate data scraping for listings and agents, and competitor price monitoring. If you have never set up a scraper that works from a sentence, the no code web scraper page shows what that looks like end to end.

FAQ

Bardeen alternative questions buyers ask

It depends on why you are leaving. If you want a cheap Chrome extension for small one-off lists, Thunderbit and Browse AI are the closest swaps. If you want a marketplace of prebuilt scrapers, Apify. If the problem is that Bardeen credits run out mid-month on scheduled scraping, WebRobot runs 10,000 records a month on a daily schedule for $79, where the same volume on Bardeen Premium is $500 billed monthly.

Bardeen Basic costs $10 to $50 a month for 100 to 500 extra credits and covers building your own scrapers only. Premium costs $50 a month for 1,000 credits, rising to $100 for 2,000, $200 for 4,000, $375 for 7,500 and $500 for 10,000. Billed annually, Premium starts at $480 a year for 12,000 credits. Enterprise is custom. Every account keeps 100 free credits.

Each row an action creates costs 1 credit, and enrichment rows cost 3. Scraping a list and then opening every profile or detail page charges both steps, so 10 leads with contact details, email validation and an AI qualification step cost 64 credits in Bardeen's own worked example. Importing, utilities and CSV downloads are free. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.

For small volumes, no: Bardeen Basic at $10 to $50 a month is cheaper than any WebRobot plan. Above about 2,000 rows a month the maths flips. Bardeen Premium is $200 a month for 4,000 credits and $500 for 10,000, while WebRobot Launch delivers 10,000 records a month for $79, or $63 billed yearly, with scheduling and the API included.

Partly. Bardeen started as a Chrome extension and many playbooks still run inside your browser, so a schedule that runs locally needs Chrome open. Cloud runs work with the browser closed and draw down credits. WebRobot is hosted from the start: robots run on our servers on a daily, hourly or real-time schedule whether your laptop is on or not.

We do not sell a LinkedIn scraper, and LinkedIn's user agreement prohibits automated collection. Bardeen's profile scrapers run inside your own signed-in session, which is a decision to take with LinkedIn's terms in front of you. WebRobot is built for public business data: directories, marketplaces, listings, job boards, reviews and company sites. The web scraping legality guide covers the rules.

Yes. The REST API is included on every active plan from Launch at $79 a month, along with signed webhooks and delivery to Google Sheets, Slack and Zapier, so rows land where your team already works. The web scraping API page shows the request and response format.
